Dr. Theodoros T. Zygiridis

Theodoros Zygiridis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1978. He received the Diploma and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2000 and 2006, respectively. In 2008 he joined the Dept. of Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Greece, where he is now an Assistant Professor. His main research interests are in the area of computational electromagnetics, and mainly focus on finite-difference time-domain methodologies, high-order techniques, accuracy-preserving algorithms, parallelization on graphics-processing units, as well as applications to contemporary engineering problems.
