Theodosios D. Karamanos

Theodosios karamanos was born in 1986 in Athens and grew up in Argos, Argolis. In 2004 he enrolled in the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Polytechnic School, AUTh, from which he graduated in 2010. Since November 2011 he is a PhD candidate in the Applied and Computational Electromagnetics Laboratory (A.C.E.L.), Telecommunications Sector, Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, AUTh. His research interests are focused on the following: Metamaterials (analysis, homogenization, characterization, circuit modelling, active metamaterials and applications in antennas and wave propagation), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) problems (measurements, immunity techniques, shieldings etc.), waveguide and free-space propagation problems (special antennas, miniaturization, waveguide structures etc.), dyadic green functions applications in electromagnetism. He is a member of the ΙΕΕΕ Antennas and Propagation Society, the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society  and the Technical Chamber of Greece.
